Bailey Wedding

On August 14th I had the honor of attending one of my good friends wedding. Blaize and I have been friends since sophomore year of high school at Ryken and she and Rob have been together since that year...so I have been close with the two of them for a long time now...6 years! Blaize is just one of those adorable, fun, genuine people to be around and I'm so thankful to call her such a good friend of mine. Although our lives are so busy and we don't get to spend much time together anymore, we try to stay in touch as often as we can and I love any chance I have to spend time with her, Rob, and their beautiful 2-year-old daughter Lyla.

Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous. The wedding was at 7 p.m. at the home of Blaize's parents; where she grew up. The 200 and some guests were likely expecting to show up to some average backyard wedding, but Blaize and her family did the most outstanding job decorating and turning their front yard into a complete and total dream. As I helped set up the day of, Blaize said to me that she was so excited...it was her dream wedding right before her eyes. They did almost all of it themselves (minus the food and...well that's it basically), and I just can't believe how amazingly beautiful the evening was! Congratulations Rob and Blaize Bailey! Enjoy these photos from their incredible evening! :)

(I just picked out the best of the best, but if you are friends with me on Facebook you can see the entire album, including the reception photos.)

Lots of catching up to do!

I have been so busy lately that I've hardly been able to pick up the camera, let alone keep this updated. So this post will be a hodge podge of a bunch of stuff I've taken this summer...

1. I went to Full Moon Farm Horse Trials in June to watch my friend Michaline compete her OTTB Eli. They did fantastic and here's a little bit of what I got!

2. I went to Clemson a few weeks ago to visit my good friend Ariel for a few days and here are a few shots of she and her boyfriend Tristan, their dog Jackson (the Shepherd looking mix), and one or two of their friend Beth's dog Benji (the Chihuahua, I believe). Enjoy!

Arch and Riley with the Telephoto

Here are the first photo's I took when I found the 70-300. I really liked the bokeh in these but was still so unsure of how exactly to use the lens best, so these are not amazing but like I said, I'm so in love with the big beautiful green bokeh :)

Enjoy!

Sunset Cruise on Pax River

I'm pretty late posting these just because I've been so busy at school, but Ryan, my brother and I spent a good few hours out on the river a few weeks ago and I got these with a new lens I found hanging around the house. This is with a 70-300 Nikkor and I really like it. I've also gotten some good ones of the dogs with this lens and will need to post those. I just need to fine tune learning how to focus is correctly but I'm getting there.

These came out alright I think. Especially once the sun started dropping a little, the lighting looked awesome, but I need to learn the lens a little better.

Anyways, enjoy a little piece of one of my favorite places to be! Nothing beats the river. :)
